College Football Draft Rankings
2008 preseason college football rankings?
Obiviously questions, who will enter the draft, but said that this year's top team there is on going, then the come out on top in the 2008 preseason polls, as we enter the 08 'season?
1. UGA - Only 5 seniors began this year, great back and a thick D. 2 USC terrific talent in the cupboard, do QB is a question mark, but Sanchez should be fine. 3. OU - Young QB and back, seems to be a defense of growing concern. 4. WVU - Probably Return White, Slaton and Devine creepy. Coach is the question mark. 5. LSU - Will be good with Perriloux and great young back, have some great players to replace time (Dorsey, Hester and Doucet) schedule is pretty rough sixth OSU - will look to reload again and a legitimate run for first place. 7. VT - Special teams and defense are great Time for VT; could play QB to be improved. 8. Texas - Young team this year, but has to figure out how to replace Sweed 9th UF - Is awesome offensive talent. The secondary needs help ... quickly. 10. Wisc - return of one of the best backs in the country could play QB more consistent. 11. Auburn - but pick up lots Cox Kodi Burns and a new offense, not to mention the stable of RB's and a thicker D. 12th Arizona State - could be slightly lower, losing 24 seniors, but the QB is good and the season will be increased to playmaker hinge. 13. Michigan - lots of chicken, but have to sign Mallet and Pryor. Add Pryor and Rodriguez to the mix and it would a large spread offense 14th Tennessee - Another team depends on a new QB, they lose and fall Cutcliffe could. 15. FSU - FSU continues playmaker Add with the prospects of the class that should help the offense. 16. Tex A & M - A wait-for TAMU, might require a season coach set. 17. Clemson - Return two large back-and D should be pretty good. The rest are, I think it will come down without looking. 18. Penn St. 19th Colorado 20th Oregon 21st Mizzou 22nd Alabama 23rd Illinois 24th Kansas 25th UCONN

Draft $9.19 An explosive look at the NFL Draft from the inside out that exposes the multilayered feeding frenzy that swarms around America's top college players. The Draft follows a handful of NFL hopefuls through the ups and downs of the 2004 college football season and the predraft process, culminating with the 2005 draft. Among the prospects are Virginia defensive end Chris Canty, who overcomes a devastating early-season knee injury to reestablish himself as a top draft hopeful, only to suffer a detached retina in a nightclub skirmish; and Fred Gibson, a talented but rail-thin Georgia wide receiver who struggles to put on the weight needed to go over the middle in the NFL. It's a complex environment, with college coaches attempting to protect their "student-athletes" from exploitation (while fully aware that they can only remain competitive if they attract NFL-caliber players to their schools), along with sports agents and NFL scouts trying to stay a step ahead of their competition. These parties provide a multi-angled view of the world of emerging NFL talent. The reader follows the season through the eyes of a host of power players and scouts, from veteran agent Pat Dye Jr. to Jerry Maguire clone Jack Scharf, to the coaching divisions of Florida State University and the University of Virginia---headed by longtime Bill Parcells disciple Al Groh. Also central to the narrative are the Atlanta Falcons and executives Rich McKay and Tim Ruskell (now with Seattle), who use a character-based evaluation system to set their draft board. These parallel stories weave together, culminating in draft weekend, to create a gripping and fascinating look at a world few see from the inside. |

Denver Broncos #15 Tim Tebow Autographed Authentic NFL Football $375 Arguably one of the most beloved college quarterbacks to ever play the game, Tim Tebowâs legacy as a football player speaks for itself. During his college career, Tebow amassed 9,286 passing yards, 2,947 rushing yards, 88 passing touchdowns and 53 rushing touchdowns. In 2007, he became the first underclassman to ever win the Heisman trophy. In his five years as a Gatorsâ quarterback, he led them to two BCS Championships in 2007 and 2009. It was his stellar career as a Gator that made him an enticing pick for the 2010 NFL Draft, when he was selected during the Broncosâ first-round draft. Though he saw limited time on the field during his debut NFL season, Tebow displayed the same skills that made him a top-notch college quarterback, succeeding at both passing and rushing. It is likely that the opportunity shall come for Tebow in subsequent seasons to really show his stuff, in which case, he will undoubtedly rise to the occasion. Tim Tebow has hand-signed this Wilson authentic NFL football which comes complete with a Certificate of Authenticity from Palm Beach Autographs and a photographic print of Tebow during the actual signing. |
